CURRICULUM
Each month I feature a unique theme inspired by the natural world, guiding children from the excitement of shapes and letters in August to the vibrant colors and growth associated with rain and wind in May. My school is designed to tap into your child's desire to learn, blending foundational academic lessons with essential life skills that cater to their individual interests and developmental stages. This ensures a well-rounded education rooted in nature and creativity, prioritizing your child’s growth and joy in learning.
Whole-Child Focus
Emphasizes emotional, social, and academic development, nurturing the child's body, heart, and mind through balanced activities.
Nature Infused
Integrates nature and seasonal rhythms, encouraging children to explore, connect, and learn from their natural environment.
Secular & Inclusive
Suitable for neurodiverse learners and designed to meet the needs of diverse families, offering a 'soulful secular' approach that emphasizes unity and individual uniqueness.
Our Daily Schedule
Each day at Miss Hannah’s Learning Garden includes a variety of play-based learning opportunities designed to engage and support the whole child. Children will explore areas such as dramatic play, math, literacy, practical life skills, and gross motor development through hands-on, child-led activities.
We’ll gather each day for Circle Time, where we focus on foundational concepts like letters, numbers, shapes, and colors—always tied into our monthly nature-themed curriculum. Following Circle Time, children will enjoy a daily project inspired by the lesson, giving them a chance to create, explore, and apply what they've learned in a meaningful way.
